Travis Alexander had described Jodi Arias as a stalker to his friends before she killed him.
Friends discovered Alexander’s body in his Mesa, Arizona, home in June 2008. He had been shot, stabbed and had his throat slit.
A check for $200 from Arias to Alexander was found in his home. The subject line of the check revealed that it was payment for two car payments.
A crime scene photo shows that bedding, clothes and a camera were shoved into the washing machine.
Jurors in Arias’ murder case were shown excerpts from messages between her and Ryan Burns.
Burns had met Arias at a business conference.
He had hoped to spark up a romance with her and had no idea clue about her sinister murder plot.
Arias tried to use him as an alibi after murdering Alexander.
She had driven to his home in Utah immediately after murdering Alexander.
Burns discovered the truth and testified against her during the trial.
"The verdict was shocking but expected," Burns said after Arias was convicted of murder in 2013.
He thought that she deserved the death penalty for the gruesome crime.
Burns said he feels "like justice has been served" now that she is behind bars.
Jurors saw an x-ray that showed damage to Alexander’s skull.
Arias shot her lover in the head while he was in the shower.
Prosecution lawyers also exhibited x-rays of Alexanders back, which showed damage done after he was stabbed dozens of times.
Mesa police fingerprint expert Heather Connor showed the court items that were removed from the washing machine after the murder.
The medical examiner's report detailed the extent of Alexander's injuries.
Arias’ defense team claimed that this t-shirt that Alexander made proved he was possessive.
