Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy can’t end soon enough for Eric Johnson, who’s moaning to pals that he’s really missing their sex life.
“Their love life has always been electric,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “But Jess isn’t in the mood so often now that she’s in her final trimester.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Simpson, 38, revealed in September that she is pregnant with baby number three. She also revealed the baby will be a girl!
“This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life,” Simpson captioned a photo of son Ace, 5, and daughter Maxwell, 6, holding a string of pink balloons.
But as she’s waiting for the baby to make her big debut, she’s not in the mood for love making, and it’s frustrating Johnson. Check out this RadarOnline.com gallery to learn how he’s handling the dry time.
Johnson, 39, supports his wife, and understands her reasoning behind the sex ban.
“Eric’s not being a douche about it, but he’s a guy with a high libido so it’s got him climbing the walls a little, put it that way,” the insider said.
“He’s counting the days for when Jess is recovered from the baby and wants to whisk her off for a romantic trip away, ASAP!”
RadarOnline.com readers know Simpson and Johnson married in 2014, but welcomed their kids before saying “I do.”
Simpson has been unable to hide her growing baby bump for months now, and her appetite has grown just as large!
In fact, the Texas-bred star filled her belly at Lucille’s Smoke House BBQ in Woodland Hills, Calif. recently, while having dinner with her mom Tina.
According to a fellow diner, Simpson indulged on a fried chicken strips appetizer, and then dug into the Backyard Family Feast For Two, which included ribs, chicken, mac and cheese and beans.
“Jessica acted like she hadn’t eaten all day,” the onlooker said. “Her mom was joking, ‘Woah Jess, slow down!’”
Most recently, the proud mama boasted on social media after Maxwell and Ace performed in their winter school program.
The singer shared a snap of herself and Eric Johnson, posing with their kids following the show. Wrote Simpson: “My family is my happy place.”
