Jennifer Aniston loves soaking up the sun in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — especially right after Christmas.

Justin Theroux has adopted his future wife’s tradition of heading south of the border to rest and relax.

Aniston is getting Oscar buzz for her upcoming movie Cake, so she’s no doubt enjoying some downtime before awards season starts.

The star is also busy preparing her wedding with Theroux.

Close friends are always welcome on the couple’s Mexican getaway that’s a quick flight from L.A.

John Krasinkski has also returned to spend time with his pals.

Aniston has reached a good place in her life, and her face shows it. "Being this side of 40 feels like what I should have felt being this side of 25: in my body, in my heart, happy with my life, and OK with whatever bumps in the road present themselves,” she says.

The actress is much more realistic about life and relationships these days. "Whoever said everything has to be forever, that's setting your hopes too high,” she says. “It's too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself — because I did! 'Fairy tale! It has to be the right one!' — that's unattainable."

Theroux has been busy during 2014, starring as Kevin Garvey on the TV show The Leftovers.

Maybe next time Aniston heads to Mexico with Theroux it will be on their honeymoon!
