Instead of packing up her family and evacuating to a safe location during Hurricane Matthew, Jenelle Evans took her chances by taking her 2-year-old son to the beach during the storm! Fans slammed the Teen Mom 2 star for putting her son in danger.

"And besides… there's so much beauty in a storm," Evans, 24, captioned a photo with her son Kaiser while combating the heavy winds.

Along for the beach day was her soon-to-be baby David Eason and his daughter Maryssa from a previous relationship.

But fans weren't pleased with Evans and Eason taking their children to the beach during the harsh conditions. "An idiot is when you take an innocent child out into this mess," a user slammed. "High winds cause debris which causes harm."

Another commenter fired, "Yes because it's a smart choice to take your 2-year-old out during a hurricane! Seriously you are putting your child in harm's way! Those kids need to be taken away from you and your pathetic bf and be placed in a safe home!"

After the beach, the pregnant reality star made hurricane cupcakes instead of evacuating. When fans questioned why Evans didn't evacuate, she replied, "Everyone's fine in my house! We are all very safe and just cooking some goodies with the family."
