As RadarOnline.com first reported, Jenelle Evans visited a plastic surgeon over the weekend during her trip to Miami for a consultation . And now, RadarOnline.com has learned that the 24-year-old Teen Mom 2 star has a major insecurity about her chin.

"She's self-conscious about her chin," Dr. Michael Salzhauer, aka Dr. Miami, told RadarOnline.com.

During the consultation, Dr. Miami analyzed Evans's chin. "I measured her and yes her chin is a little bit big," he said. "It's tiny — it's literally like millimeters."

As a plastic surgeon, these doctors try to help their patients feel better about themselves. "What we do in plastic surgery, we try to make people feel better about their bodies even if it is millimeters, even if it doesn't bother everybody else," Dr. Miami explained. "But if it bothers her every time she looks in the mirror, I think it's worth doing."

Unfortunately, Dr. Miami had to recommend Evans to a fellow surgeon. "The thing is I don't do that operation very often, so I referred her to another plastic surgeon who does oral-facial work," he said.

If Evans decided to go through with the surgery, they would have to change her bone shape. "What she would need to have done is to have a little bit of the chin bone burred down a little bit, just a couple of millimeters," Dr. Miami said.

But after the consultation, Evans decided she didn't want to go through with it. "Honestly to everyone out there, I backed out," she admitted on Instagram. "I'm staying the way I am. Thanks for all the confidence and support from every single one of you to help make my decision."

While Dr. Miami didn't try to sway Evans's decision either way, "I told her that the amount of excess chin she has is really very small and very subtle," he said. "You're average person who meets her in a conversation is not going to walk away thinking, 'Oh, that's that girl with the big chin.' It's very subtle. It's not like a Jay Leno, and I tried to explain that to her."

"I think she gets it," he continued. "I guess she understands that surgery is surgery. It involves Anesthesia and pain and recovery and all that. If it's not worth it, it's not worth it."

"Nothing that we do in plastic surgery is life and death," Dr. Miami concluded. "It's all about risks and benefits, does it make you feel better, is it worth it to you. It all depends on where you are in life and how you feel about it. So I'm not surprised and it's totally up to her."
