Jenelle’s Husband SLAMMED By PETA For Shooting Dog Scandal: ‘Charges Should Be Filed!’
May 1 2019, Updated 5:09 p.m. ET
Animal rights organization PETA is calling for the arrest of David Eason after he admitted to killing wife Jenelle Evans’ dog nugget.
The fired Teen Mom 2 star claimed he killed the pooch after he bit their daughter. But in a video he posted on social media, the dog could be seen harmlessly nipping the 2-year-old.
After the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office declined to arrest David because of “no evidence,” PETA exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that they believe charges should be filed against the troubled ex-reality star.
Ripping David
“David Eason has a long history of violent behavior and was caught on camera, just weeks ago, forcefully dragging a pig by his or her legs, so alarm bells should be sounding,” the statement read. “People who abuse animals typically don't stop there. Domestic abusers commonly begin by threatening, torturing, or killing animals, and if reports that he shot Nugget are true, it's time to worry about the safety of the humans and remaining animals at the house.”
Arrest Him!
The organization ended the statement with, “PETA hopes charges will be filed against Eason and that he'll be banned from owning animals.”
Disturbing 911 Call
As RadarOnline.com broke, authorities responded to the home after an unidentified male placed the call on Tuesday, April 30.
Shocking Claim
“A call was made today, and it was relayed that the woman’s husband had killed her dog,” the Sheriff’s Office told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday, April 30. “The Sheriff is out there right now investigating and there will be an incident report filed later.”
Off The Hook
Public Information Officer Michele Tatum exclusively told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday, May 1, “No arrests were made.” "Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the location but were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence," the PIO said. "A deputy was dispatched to the residence this morning for follow up contact. The deputy made contact with the homeowner, Mr. Eason. The deputy confirmed that the occupants of this residence were okay. There was no evidence to substantiate further investigation."
Defensible?
David defended his cruel actions on social media, blaming the dog snapping at their 2-year-old daughter. He even posted a video of the incident.
No Excuse
“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” he wrote. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s**t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. “The only person that can judge whether or not an animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

Go Jenelle!
Although Jenelle is always coming to her husband’s defense, she is not standing by him this time.
RIP Nugget
“Nugget… I’m crying everyday,” she captioned a photo with the late pooch. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught.”
So Sad
Jenelle, 27, is “devastated” over the incident. An insider told RadarOnline.com, “She doesn’t want to go home.” She is currently staying with a friend.
It’s Over?
She told Us Weekly that she is considering divorce.
Stay Strong
“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation,” she said. “I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids. Nothing is finalized.”
History Of Abuse
The shooting comes after David was caught on camera violently dragging pigs on their property.
Past Issues
The MTV star also accused him of domestic violence in a chilling 911 call back in February. She called the incident a “drunken misunderstanding.”
