Jenelle Evans’ family is horrified that the fired Teen Mom 2 star and her dog killer husband have two new dogs — but a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively that they “can’t do anything about it!"
Jenelle and David Eason were busted showing off their new dogs in social media videos just three months after he admitted to shooting and killing their French bulldog, Nugget.
"They are one of the most unique types of dog I have ever seen, and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned," David said of the Anatolian Shepherds in a new YouTube video. "They are a livestock guardian breed and do not mind eating and sleeping with all our animals on The Land!”
But a family insider was not as excited about the new addition to the controversial family.
“Jenelle and David should get some help,” the family insider dished to RadarOnline.com after the couple showed off the new dogs.
The pair is free to get any new pets they want, as RadarOnline.com first reported the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office dropped the animal cruelty investigation after Jenelle changed her story multiple times about David killing the dog.
RadarOnline.com readers know that David testified that he killed Nugget during their CPS custody battle.
“He admitted it on the stand," a source previously told RadarOnline.com.
"He said after their other dog, Jax, killed the pig and a few chickens, he even considered killing him, too. But he didn’t want the backlash from social media so he got rid of him.”
The judge still returned their children to them.

David posted a video of YouTube of Buddy and Junior, and explained why they had two new dogs. “Recently we had to find a better way of protecting our chickens and livestock. We have hawks and crows always eating the heads off our chickens, and plastic owls are not doing the trick," he told followers, adding that they gave up their old dog, Jax. "Our pit bull Jax killed and maimed one of our pigs that was around 80 pounds. With that in mind, plus the many chickens Jax killed and ate, we decided to give him to a friend."
Jenelle’s Words
In a press release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, a police spokesperson explained how Jenelle, 27, called in a report that her husband killed the beloved family pet. “Evans advised that her husband, David Eason, threw the dog outside. She then advised that after David realized the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog,” the statement read of the May 1 conversation. “Jenelle stated that she did hear a gunshot but did not witness the incident.”
Shocking Denial
However, after the Sheriff’s Department released their statement, Jenelle tried to claim that she didn’t know what had happened to Nugget.
