Game Faces On! Jenelle Evans & David Eason Back In Court To Fight For Custody Of Kids

They’re back!
Jenelle Evans and David Eason returned to Columbus County Court on Tuesday, June 25 for yet another custody hearing.
As RadarOnline.com broke, David shot and killed family dog Nugget after the pooch nipped at their 2-year-old daughter Ensley.
The shooting not only resulted in Jenelle’s firing from Teen Mom 2, but also in CPS removing all of their children from their care.
The couple has been in and out of court since May in an effort to regain custody back of the kids.

Serious Business
Jenelle, 27, and David, 31, were straight-faced as they walked into court for their first hearing this week.
Court Attire
Jenelle wore a button-down shirt with beige leggings for the court day, as she carried a stack of folders with her.
Dress To Impress?
David wore a brown suit jacket with a dress shirt and tie. He topped off the court look with a trimmed beard.
CPS Nightmare
The couple is in court to fight for custody of their children back. In May, a judge ordered Kaiser, 4, who Jenelle shares with ex Nathan Griffith, Maryssa, 11, who is David’s daughter from a previous relationship, and Ensley, their only child together, be removed from their care.
Jenelle’s Hell
Jenelle’s mom Barbara has full custody of her son Jace, 9, with ex Andrew Lewis. She was ordered to not allow Jace to have visits with Jenelle.
Judge’s Ruling

After five court hearings, a judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care.” The source previously told RadarOnline.com, “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified.”
Bad Environment
The insider continued, “CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy and there were holes in all of the walls.”
Improving?
A source previously told RadarOnline.com that Jenelle and David have been working hard to regain custody. “She signed up for parenting classes and marriage counseling,” the source said. “They’re looking to get David a psych evaluation for court."
Better Off?
Jenelle and David have been taking advantage of their kid-free life, as they have traveled to Washington D.C. a couple of times since the shocking ruling. Jenelle has also been focusing on her farm, as she’s been posting “homestead” videos.
Shocking Fight
The court appearance comes after Jenelle got into a blowout fight with her mom Barbara for consoling her crying 2-year-old after a hearing.
Missing Mom
The former reality star has also been posting throwback photos of her children. “#MemoriesNeverFade,” she captioned a photo of David and Ensley.
Limited Time
As RadarOnline.com reported, Jenelle and David are able to visit the children once a week for an hour at child protective services.
