As RadarOnline.com readers know, David shot the family dog Nugget. The killing resulted in Jenelle’s firing from Teen Mom 2. A judge then ordered all of their children to be removed from their care.
They are in court today to work out “a solution on how to get her kids back.”

Another Court Hearing
Jenelle, 27, and David, 30, looked serious as they walked into Columbus County Court to work out a solution to regain custody of their children.
Ready For War
Jenelle wore a black blazer, dress pants and glasses for the hearing. She held papers in her hand as she walked into court. David wore a button-down plaid shirt and a brown suit jacket.
Shocking Ruling
As RadarOnline.com reported, a judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care” after five court hearings.
Bad Environment
“The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified,” the source previously told RadarOnline.com.
Harsh Conditions
The insider added, “CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy and there were holes in all of the walls.”
New Rules
Jenelle and David are able to have supervised visits with each child once a week for an hour.
Supervised Visits
The visits are restricted to the Department of Social Services. “She can meet them in the office, she cannot go see them in their homes,” the insider said.
Fighting Back
A source told RadarOnline.com that Jenelle is dedicated to regaining custody of her children. “She signed up for parenting classes and marriage counseling,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “They’re looking to get David a psych evaluation for court. The court is ordering this next week, but in the meantime they are jumping ahead so when they go they can say, ‘We’re working on our marriage, we’re working on this.’”
New Homes
Jenelle and David’s daughter Ensley, 2, is in her mother Barbara’s care, as is Jace, 9, who the grandmother has full custody of. Kaiser, 4, who Jenelle shares with ex Nathan Griffith, is in his mother Doris’ care. As for Maryssa, 11, who is David’s daughter from a previous marriage, she is with her grandmother on her mother’s side.
Singled Out
A source confirmed to RadarOnline.com that they are no longer fighting for custody of Maryssa. "Jenelle and David are saying Maryssa is a liar," a source told RadarOnline.com, as a second source added, "She had an attitude during the visit."
Delusional Jenelle!
Jenelle has been keeping busy since the court ruling. She posted photos of vegetables and fruit from her farm. “Homestead living,” she captioned the snap.
No Kids, No Problem!
The controversial couple also took a day trip to Washington, DC after the shocking court ruling, RadarOnline.com reported.
