Howard Stern and animal activist wife Beth Ostrosky celebrated the end of his work week Wednesday with a night out at New York City's Polo Bar, and RadarOnline.com has the shots.

The animal activist Beth seemed to have something on her mind as the pair hit the town for dinner. Stern's oldest daughter Emily, 32, recently opened up to the NY Post about the emotional scars she still sports from her father's 1999 break-up with her mother, Alison Berns, following more than two decades of marriage.

The multi-talented Emily, who dabbles in music, art and photography, said she thought her father and mother "were very much in love," and that she "felt like their divorce came out of nowhere." The singer of the cult hit "Zoo Za Zoo" told the paper that Stern "used to be one way, and then he marries a model," in reference to Beth.

Beth shows off her massive 5.2-carat engagement ring, which previously published reports have estimated being worth as much as $250,000. Stern presented the blonde beauty with the flashy piece in his Valentine's Day of 2007 proposal to her.

The 43-year-old Hamptons socialite walks a few paces ahead of the King of All Media, 61, as the pair enter the restaurant owned by famed designer Ralph Lauren. According to its website, the restaurant pays homage to "the distinguished sporting lifestyle" Lauren's brand is renown for.

Stern quickly took to the air to address the recent report, saying that he's "very blessed to have such a great relationship" with his three daughters, and that neither he or Emily felt the piece was "very reflective" of their relationship.

Beth — a New York Times bestselling author for her 2010 book "Oh My Dog: How to Choose, Train, Groom, Nurture, Feed, and Care for Your New Best Friend" — is gearing up for the release of her upcoming children's book "Yoda Gets a Buddy," the follow-up to last year's "Yoda: The Story of a Cat and his Kittens."
