Mama June Shannon's daughters are growing up— but are they moving too fast? Lauryn Mychelle "Pumpkin" Shannon, who just turned 16 last week, is now engaged to her 19-year-old boyfriend, Josh Efird. Efird's grandmother exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the young couple is jumping the gun.

High school student Pumpkin recently called Josh, a mechanic in the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo family's native Georgia, the "most amazing and important man in my life."

The young lovebirds, who began dating in March 2015, are so serious, he popped the question at a local Bay Breeze seafood restaurant.

Josh's grandmother, Linda Efird, told RadarOnline.com that Pumpkin is a "really nice girl"— but she's uneasy about the impending nuptials.

"I think they're too young for marriage," the concerned grandmother revealed. "I hope they have a long engagement."

However, Linda stressed that Pumpkin and Josh "love each other." "She's very sweet," she said of Mama June's second youngest daughter. "And I love my grandson."

The very young couple still lives in separate homes, Linda said.
