Heidi Who? Klum Wasn't Always A Supermodel -- Check Out These Awkward Childhood Photos!

The eighties were in full force when this old photo of Heidi Klum was snapped. The supermodel is almost unrecognizable with her dark brown, puffy hair!

The new -- yet old -- photos of Klum were released by a former classmate named Parviz Khosrawi, who directed a movie the model filmed during her teenage years.

Klum has her face painted as she dances alongside two other girls.

Klum, who grew up in the small German town of Bergisch, was cast in the school film as a cyborg, which was called Die Weibliche Kampfmashine -- translated as The Female Fighting Machine or Female Cyborg.

It's a far cry from her perfect model look these days, but it would only be six years later that Klum would get her start in the modeling world after a friend nudged her to enter a modeling competition.

As a high school senior, Klum won the contest and was offered a modeling contract with Metropolitan Models New York. Her big break came when she landed the 1998 cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

There's a hint of the future supermodel to be in this photo, where Klum has her hair straight, pulled into a low ponytail while she looks deep in thought.
