Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently announced her engagement to Brad Falchuk, flaunted her huge ring at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. Surprisingly, the Goop goddess sported a darker stoned ring instead of a traditional diamond. Although Falchuk presumably bought her the sparkler, a RadarOnline.com source says that Paltrow plans to "make a profit" of her wedding by having sponsors give free goodies! Newly-engaged Paltrow, 45, showed off her body in a long red gown—but all eyes were on the enormous rock on her finger!
Paltrow, who has caused controversy with her high-priced lifestyle website Goop, was proud to wear the ring after she and Glee producer Falchuck, 47, got engaged.
The actress who has been accused of being pretentious released a statement on her engagement with Falchuck, which read, "We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship."
The Shakespeare in Love Oscar winner, who claimed she was harassed by producer Harvey Weinstein, famously did an "conscious uncoupling" with her first husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, 40, father of her two kids.
Paltrow opined inside her magazine GOOP about giving marriage a second chance, writing, "Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that are made possible by intimacy."
Now Paltrow is planning her wedding to Falchuck, whom she met on the set of Glee in 2014. According to a Radar source, the nuptials will be over the top and she's bragging it won't cost her a dime.
The source revealed to Radar that bridezilla Paltrow wants to transform her May wedding into a cash grab! "Gwyneth is boasting she can actually make a profit on this wedding" the insider dished. "Since she announced her engagement, virtually every sponsor and corporate partner of her company, Goop, has offered her lavish free goods and services. Gwyneth is getting everything from the food to the flowers to the tables and even the guests' parting gifts for free. Many of them are even paying for the privilege!"
