'Multiple Deaths' In Florida High School Shooting, Suspect In Custody

A mass shooting took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on Wednesday. Coral Springs Mayor Skip Campbell, whose city contracts fire service in Parkland, confirms there were "multiple fatalities" and at least "20 students are injured." A shooter opened fire today in a High School in Florida and according to some reports, there may be as many as 20-50 victims.
Broward County Police Scanner stated that suspect, Nicholas Cruz is in custody.
Margate Fire Chief Dan Booker said that “over 20 are injured.”
The scenes is “still very active” and it is a “level 3 mass casualty incident,” Booker added.

Florida Governor Rick Scott addressed the situation on Twitter and said, “Just spoke with @POTUS about shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. My thoughts and prayers are with the students, their families and the entire community. We will continue to receive briefings from law enforcement and issue updates.”
The world watched in horror as many students were carried out on stretchers. “This is a good school and affluent area,” Broward County Sheriff said.
