The Best, Worst and Wackiest Looks From The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Every year, the best in movies and television is honored at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, and this year is no different.

On Saturday, June 15, celebrities walked the red carpet as they arrived at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California to attend the annual celebration.

Accomplishments and predictions of the night were discussed, but as many know, the highlight of the red carpet is the fashion.

Renee Bargh and Daniel Levy led the night with some of the best looks, while Mischa Barton and Lizzo seemed to have dropped the ball.

While the MTV Movie & TV Awards are a celebration, they are less formal than the Academy Awards. Renee Bargh's all white ensemble is not only fitting for the occasion, but goes well with the beautiful Santa Monica weather.

Jason Wahler looks quite dapper in his dark grey suit. Opting for a navy blue shirt was an underrated, yet perfect match. From the looks of this red carpet hit, no one would be able to tell he's had a dark past.

Becky Lynch's accessory of a wrestling belt is understandable considering she's a professional wrestler, but quite frankly, it's covering a very cute outfit! Her suit dress is sophisticated with a dab of sensual.

You can rarely ever go wrong with color, if it's done correctly, and in this particular case, it's done exceptionally well! Daniel Levy paired his bright red suit with complementary colors white and black and he looks amazing!

Sometimes simple is best. Ask Teen Mom OG's Cheyenne Floyd! Her light blue dress is perfectly paired with some bedazzled heels and a simple hairdo. Perhaps, her cutest accessory is her name plate necklace which reads her daughter's name: Ryder.

Bazzi's outfit has potential. As a matter of fact, the main thing wrong is the fit of his clothing. The jacket, which he could have done without, and the pants appear to be too small, as if his clothes shrunk in a dryer or he borrowed a younger brother's clothes!

There's a lace dress done wrong, and a lace dress done right. Chanel West Coast's outfit is the former. The white lace doesn't look good against her skin, and the yellow flowers look uncomfortable and itchy.

Mixing and matching colors, prints, or materials can be okay, but it didn't work out too well for Keith L. Williams. His velour jacket might have been a better match had he not worn those shiny leather pants!

Vanessa Marano's intentions were great, but the quality of her dress has landed her on this list. The print of her dress looks like peeling stickers. It just looks really cheap.

Speaking of inexpensive quality, the same holds true with Annie Murphy's suit! Truth be told, we've seen way better sequined outfits than this. Furthermore, the oversized look would have been much better with a simple print. The combination is just too much!

Disney star McKenna Grace is such a cute girl, but unfortunately the same can't be said about her outfit. Besides the fact that the dress is ill fitting, it seems to be poorly sewn. It was a miss before she even put it on!

Serena's bob? Perfect. Her shoes? Okay. Her dress? Terrible! While the detail and adornments on the top half of the dress looks beautiful and expensive, the bottom half appears to be the complete opposite: cheap and undesirable.

There are few people who can pull off props or costumes as an outfit. Lady Gaga is the queen, but Tana Mongeau has some work to do. Truthfully speaking, the hair and the shoes were great, and the chain adds some edge to the look, but with Gaga in mind, no one can compare!

Lizzo's message of self love and body positivity is inspiring to many, but we're positive we don't love this look! The scrunch dress, the fur, the neon color...there's just too much going on! Not to mention, sneakers probably aren't the best shoes to wear with a dress like this!

Brighten up Barton! When you think of black and lace, you think sexy, right? The Hills star's version ages her and brings a somber feel to her look and the red carpet as a whole.
