John Sweeney
During his on-air investigation of the Church of Scientology for a BBC special in 2007, journalist John Sweeney lost the plot when he was questioned about his methods. He screamed at a Church spokesperson, "Now listen to me! You were not there at the beginning of the interview! You were not there! You did not hear or record all the interview! Do you understand? You are quoting the second half of the interview, not the first half. You cannot assert what you are saying!" Sweeney had to apologise.
The Queen
The picture of poise, The Queen, got into a minor flap with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz who had asked her to remove her crown. "I think it will look better without the crown because the garter robe is soŠ," Leibovitz said. To which Her Majesty responded, "Less dressy? What do you think this is?"
Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly is long known in media circles for his temper. Years before he embarked on his all-conquering ratings quest at FOX News, the television host had some problems with a teleprompter at Inside Edition. "F*ck it, we'll do it live!" he screamed to the floor crew, seemingly frustrated by a last-minute alteration to the show's teleprompter text.
Russell Crowe
In June, 2011, Russell Crowe unloaded a Twitter tirade on the practice of circumcision. "Circumcision is barbaric and stupid. Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect," he wrote. "I love my Jewish friends, I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting yr babies." The Gladiators star was forced to apologize, noting his ³deep and abiding love for all people of all nationalities."
Tracy Morgan
In June 2011, 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan unleashed a wave of shaking heads when he spewed homophobic comments during a comedy show in Nashville. He reportedly told the audience he would stab his son if he ever found out he was gay. Tracy quickly issued an apology, calling himself "an equal opportunity jokester" but admitted his comments ³went too far."
John Galliano
John Galliano was fired from his position as the chief designer at the House of Dior after telling a random couple in Paris, "I love Hitler."
Chevy Chase
Chevy Chase didn't think his NBC show Community was funny at all. In an audio recording of Chase, the veteran actor was caught on tape ripping the prime-time program that he helped build, admitting to the show¹s creator Dan Harmon: "It's just a f*cking mediocre sitcom! I want people to laugh and this isn't funny." An angry Chase added, "It ain't funny to me because I'm 67-years-old and I've been doing this a long time. I've been making a lot of people laugh -- a lot better than this."
Rev. Jesse Jackson
In 2008, The Rev. Jesse Jackson was forced to apologize for a crude remark about then Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama. Unaware a microphone was recording him at FOX News, Jackson was caught whispering: "See, Barack's been talking down to black people ... I want to cut his nuts off."
Charlie Sheen
Before Charlie Sheen was fired from his hit show Two and a Half Men, he went on a series of profane, rambling rants against Alcoholics Anonymous, his dad Martin Sheen, his ex-wife and, particularly, television producer Chuck Lorre. Responding to people like his father, who said he was battling addition, Sheen said: "Bullsh*t. I cured it with my mind It's all good guys. Quit panicking. No panic, no judgment. You can kill me, but you do not have the right to judge me." But it was Lorre -- the man behind The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly -- who he took aim at the most. He called Lorre a "clown" whose real name is "Chaim Levine." (His name is actually Charles Michael Levine). "He's a stupid, stupid little man and a p***y punk that I never want to be like."
Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse was videoed in a drugged-up state by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007. The clip showed her and a friend singing: "Blacks, Pakis, Gooks and Nips, Gooks and Nips," to the tune of children's song "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes."
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen urged his Twitter followers to throw rotten eggs, toilet paper or dog feces at his nine-year-old daughter's former Los Angeles school. He suggested ex-wife, Denise Richards, and their daughters Sam, 9, and Lola, 7, had been harassed by supporters of the school, Viewpoint, since then. Sheen wrote, "a group of mindless Viewpoint supporting doosh-bagz have targeted D and the girls with bullying tactics" as a response to my call to arms. So, bullying is the answer? As a response to bullying? Leave them alone." He dared the perpetrators to "show yourselves you spineless cowards. Oh that¹s right; cockroaches scatter in the light. FYI ‹ we have your faces on camera. police are involved."
Sharon Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne put Mother Monster Lady Gaga on blast calling her "hypocritical and full of contradictions" after the singer declared war on her daughter, Kelly Osbourne. The Talk cohost said Gaga was a "bully" after she criticized her comments on E!'s Fashion Police. Mrs O raged: "You have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker. You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately. I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public? Let me know if you want to continue this debate. I'm an open playing field for you my darling."
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen left a voice message for his ex-wife Denise Richards, in 2008, saying: "I hope you rot in f****n" hell. You¹re a piece of s***, f***in' liar. Š I hope I never f******' talk to you again you f****ng c***. You're a coward and a liar and a f****ng n*****." Denise is white. He later issued an apology for his "choice of words." "I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended; especially to Tony Todd, an African-American, who was my best man at my first two weddings," Sheen wrote.
Chris Brown
Responding to being called a "piece of sh*t" on Twitter, Chris Brown told a Houston-based comedienne, Jenny Johnson, that she should perform oral sex on him and then threatened to defecate in her eye. "I should fart while ur giving me top," he said in one vile missive. Another: "mom says hello... She told me not to shart in ur mouth, wanted me to shit right on the retina." "I'm not a fan of Chris Brown's for obvious reasons," she later said.
Prince Harry
"Our little Paki friend," ranted Prince Harry, during a video diary of an Asian member of his army platoon.
50 Cent
In January, 2013, 50 Cent unleashed a text tirade against his son Marquise, 16, calling him "f*cking stupid" and a "motherf*cker." RadarOnline.com broke the story: the Grammy Award-winning rapper was furious at his son who apparently would not allow him into his home for a custody visit. Fiddy also demanded a paternity test in another vile message which read: "I need a blood test cause that d*** sucking b***h you call mom was f***ing the hole time sic."
Alec Baldwin
In 2007, Alec Baldwin was caught on tape spewing vile hatred at his daughter Ireland, then 11. “I’m leaving this message with you to tell you, you have insulted me for the last time,” Baldwin railed. “You have insulted me. You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being—I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old, 11 years old, or that you’re a child, or that your mother is a fucking pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do as far as I’m concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone ... You better be ready Friday, the 20th, to meet with me, so I’m gonna let you know just how I feel about what a rude little pig you really are. You are a rude, thoughtless little pig.” He later apologized.
Michael Richards
Seinfeld star Michael Richards committed career suicide at a Hollywood comedy club, when he told two black audience members during a stand-up set: “Fifty years ago, we’d have you upside down with a fucking fork up your ass. You can talk, you can talk, you’re brave now motherf****r. Throw his ass out. He’s a n****r! He’s a n****r! He’s a n****r! A n****r, look, there’s a n****r!”
Duane “Dog” Chapman
Duane “Dog” Chapman was captured spewing foul-mouthed racist slurs on a tape. The star of the A&E reality show Dog, The Bounty Hunter, directed his racist hatred at his son Tucker’s girlfriend Monique Shinnery, who is black, in a filthy bigoted attack, littered with the N-word and other disgusting racial insults.
Mel Gibson
In a series of audiotapes obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com in July 2010, Mel Gibson told his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva she could get “raped by a pack of n***ers” -- because of what she was wearing. “You go out in public and it’s a fucking embarrassment to me,” he ranted. “You look like a fucking bitch in heat and if you get raped by a pack of n---ers it’ll be your fault all right?" The Lethal Weapon star later referred to a Latino worker as a “wetback” during an argument with his ex-girlfriend.

"I was out of order beyond belief," the Dark Knight actor said of his tirade at the film's director of photography, Shane Hurlbut, who accidentally interrupted Bale mid-scene. At the beginning of a taped recording, Bale fumed: 'I'm gonna kick your f**king a**. He was caught on tape using the F-word 35 times.
John Mayer
John Mayer used the N-word in an interview with Playboy. He said: “Someone asked me the other day, ‘What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?’ And by the way, it’s sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a n**** pass.” After the article came out, Mayer frantically apologized on his Twitter account.
Tom Cruise
In 2005, during an interview on TODAY, Tom Cruise proved to be the ultimate testy interviewee when he engaged in a debate with host Matt Lauer over antidepressants and psychiatry. Quizzed about how his then fiance Katie Holmes embracing Cruise's religion of Scientology, Cruise told Lauer: "It's something you don't understand. You can be a Christian and be a Scientologist. It is a religion in that it deals with the spirit, you as a spiritual being." He also accused Lauer of being "glib."

John Wayne was quoted as saying, “I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don’t feel guilty about the fact that five or ten generations ago these people were slaves," in a 1971 interview with Playboy magazine.
