'Embarrassed' Billy Bush's Career Collapses After Trump Tape Leak

After a shocking tape leak exposed Donald Trump and Billy Bush having a shocking conversation about women, both celebrities are in the eye of the storm as more details keep surfacing.
While Trump warned his presidential opponent Hillary Clinton there’s “zero chance” he’ll dropping out of the race, Bush has been worried he might get the boot from the TODAY show — especially since petitions to fire him have flooded social media since Friday.
But according to new reports, a source revealed Bush won’t be fired for his inappropriate conversation with Trump about married women back in 2005.
“There have been no discussions of any type of disciplinary action,” the NBC insider told the publication. In fact, the 44-year-old host is expected to appear back on the show Monday.
After the tape was exposed, Bush was quick to make a public apology: “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s not excuse, but this happened eleven years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.”
Despite him getting to keep his spot on the show, other insiders told PEOPLE they were concerned about his behavior behind closed doors. “This was personal,” the source told the publication. “He was turning on his co-workers and friends to suck to Donald Trump. So it’s like, ‘What does he say about me when I’m not in the room?’"
What do you think about Bush getting to keep his job?
