Drake was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on stage while rehearsing at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The rapper, 31, suddenly felt ill and couldn't perform. After canceling shows on Friday and Saturday, Drake apologized to fans. The setback came after his rival Kanye West demanded that he and other stars stop talking trash about his wife, Kim Kardashian! "I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows," Drake wrote on his Instagram Story after he reportedly went to the hospital. "I got so ill so fast and I had never experienced anything like that in my life."
Drake didn't elaborate on what kind of illness caused him to collapse. He wrote, "Unlike other show cancellations or date adjustments due to production issues this one fell on me and I just want to apologize because I hate letting down anyone who come to share these moments with us."
In an Instagram video, fellow rapper West, 41, blasted Drake days ago, along with Nick Cannon, 37, and Tyson Beckford, 47, for talking smack about his wife Kardashian, 37.
Fans are worried about Drake after his medical incident. But West isn't in his corner; he told him in his Instagram video earlier, "stop talking about f****g my wife." Kardashian has said the rumored hookup never happened!
West ranted against Drake, "Now, Drake, what I am looking for spirit to take accountability is the fact that it's people making rumors that are saying you f***ed my wife, well that don't sit well with my spirit." Now Drake is recovering from an illness.
Drake's tour with Migos, "Aubrey and the Three Migos," will make up the Miami dates he had to cancel in November.
