Talented Crash star Don Cheadle has a new hobby – flipping houses! Check out the exclusive photos of his old digs.
According to Variety, the Boogie Nights actor raked in $1,297,000 when he sold his environmentally-minded bungalow, located in eastern Venice.
Cheadle and wife Bridgid Coulter, who runs her own boutique interior design studio in Los Angeles, quickly transformed the tiny house from simple to snazzy.
The eco-conscious pad was once a run-of-the-mill, 2-bedroom bungalow.
The adventurous star’s renovations created a 1,305-square-foot dwelling, flipped on the market in early 2012 for $1.195 million.
The low-maintenance and drought-tolerant landscaping in the front and back yards creates a sunny atmosphere for the A-list actor.
Their outdoor amenities include recycled concrete paths, several patios and porches.
By “several” patios, we really do mean several.
The bungalow also comes with custom cabinetry crafted with sustainable materials.
Digital marketing materials call out radiant-heated bamboo flooring, non-toxic interior paints, and an eco-ethanol fireplace.
The bedrooms are simple and serene, letting in an abundance of natural light.
The backyard also includes a couple of raised planter beds. These celebs know how to give homeowners a hands-on housing experience!
It’s a safe bet Cheadle will, as with the property he just sold, remodel any new purchased homes with his wife and turn it into a profitable “green” palace.
