Parton, whose many procedures began with breast enlargements at the young age of 22, once proclaimed: "Thanks to Botox and fillers, as well as the work that I've already had, my face pretty much maintains itself. I don't want to look too artificial."

But Dr. Back notes, ironically, that's exactly what has happened to her! "There's a fine line with Botox. Artistically, if the right note is hit, that person will look relaxed; but when the wrong note is hit, things can look bizarre, and she is an example of that."

Dr. Back also believes Parton's had cosmetic work performed around her eyes and eyebrows — and it's given her a haunting, ghost-like look! "In one of the photos, her eyes are almost closed, yet her eyebrows are way up there," offered the surgeon, who added, "In another photo, she looks like she's had the shock of her life. It's a case of her having too much Botox and in the wrong spots."
