RadarOnline.com Online has the official story behind the rumors and quotes directly from the rapper that will let the real truth be known about the complete Drake baby drama timeline.
January 2017: Two Night Stand in Amsterdam
Following his split from Jennifer Lopez, Drake was seen having dinner in Amsterdam with adult actress Sophie Brussaux.
March 2017: Celebrating in Miami
Drake referenced his son in the song “March 14.” It was supposedly the date that he did a paternity test and celebrated the news that he was going to be a father in Miami.
May 2017: Preggo
A source claimed that Brussaux was 3-months pregnant and had hired Raoul Felder as her lawyer to do the paternity test of the child. There were also rumors that she had saved text messages that had been exchanged between the actress and the rapper concerning their pregnancy.
Drake’s representatives denied the rumors and released the following statement, “This woman has a very unquestionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is, in fact, Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
October 2017: Like Father, Like Son
Rumours swirled that Brussaux had given birth. Later, Drake confirmed this with his track “March 14” from Scorpion with the line, “October baby for irony sake, of course, I got this 11 tatted for somebody now it’s yours.”
May 2018: Deadbeat Drake
It was a busy month for Drake when Pusha-T released the track “The Story of Adidon.” With lyrics like “Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother. A baby’s involved. It’s bigger than rap … You’re hiding a child, let that boy come home … Adonis is your son,” all eyes turned towards Drake and headlines ran that it was a diss track to the rapper.
Brussaux made her Instagram account private following the Pusha-T drama. Yet, that didn’t stop Vulture from screenshoting a photo of a very pregnant Brussaux to share with the Internet.
Rumors also swirled that Drake was financially supporting her and her child to live comfortably in her native France.
June 2018: Scorpion King
Drake dropped the bombshell of the century with his album Scorpion. On it, he rapped about his son, Brussaux, and his heartache over bringing his son into a broken family. Drake also revealed that he had only seen his son once–on Christmas. “I only met you one time, introduced you to Saint Nick / I think he musta brought you like twenty gifts. Your mother say you growin’ so fast that they don’t even really fit / But man, you know/ I still had to get it for my boy though, you know.”
October 2018: Proud Dad
On LeBron James’ HBO series The Shop, Drake showed the basketball player photos of his “beautiful” baby boy on his phone.
