'Dirty John' True Crime Series Is Here — Meet The Cast

America's most awaited true crime series is finally here, with its first season! The Bravo show, Dirty John, will be based on the successful 2017 investigative podcast which focuses on the lies and deceits of its main character. Eric Bana will star as John Meehan, the troubled hunk whose rocky relationship with Debra Newell (Connie Britton) leads to brutal consequences for an entire family.
She is a businesswoman who met Meehan through an Internet dating site and falls madly in love — despite her family's reproaches.
Juno Temple will star as Veronica Newell, one of Debra's daughters, who is skeptical of her relationship with John.
Julia Garner will play Terra Newell, Debra's youngest daughter, who reportedly kills John in self-defense.
Jean Smart will play the role of Debra's mother, Arlene Hart, in the Bravo series.

Written by Chance co-creator Alexandra Cunningham, the crime show will focus on the life of John Meehan, also known a Dirty John or Filthy John, and his relationship with Debra Newell. It will also deal with complex themes of abuse and manipulation. Dirty John premieres 11/25 at 10/9c on Bravo.
