The love life of the late American actress Debbie Reynolds garnered almost as much attention as the iconic films she starred in. During the peak of her career, the highs and lows of Reynolds' romantic life played out in front of the world. Now, in a shocking new tell-all, Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds: Princess Leia & Unsinkable Tammy In Hell, written by biographers Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter, the Singin' In The Rain star's alleged affairs are exposed. According to Prince and Porter, Carrie Fisher's mom "launched a number of affairs with a series of affairs" before she divorced Harry Karl.
The biographers also revealed that at the start of her career, Reynolds' publicity agency, MGM, arranged dates for her and other stars to go on. "That's why a date was set up between Debbie and Rock Hudson," Danforth and Prince wrote.
The writers also shockingly claimed that Debbie had planned for Robert Wagner to take her virginity. "She had once selected him as the young man to take her virginity, only she never got around to telling him," the writers claimed. "She was certain he would have been most willing."
Reynolds was also previously linked to famed late musician, Frank Sinatra. The writers exposed Reynolds' strong connection with the singer – and hinted it may have turned physical.
"It will never be known exactly what happened between Debbie and Sinatra during that waterborne transit to Catalina," the biographers wrote. Fellow actress Verita Thompson is also quoted previously claiming that Reynolds "confessed" to having sex with Sinatra even though she claimed to others that "she was still a virgin and waiting for Eddie Fisher to do the dirty deed."
