Danelle Umstead is a professional athlete who has overcome a lot of adversity. The Paralympic alpine skier, 46, is blind, and relies on her husband, Rob Umstead, to be her guide in national competitions. But RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that long before she married her current husband in 2006, Umstead got married at age 18. She ultimately divorced her first husband four years later, a court clerk in Texas confirmed to RadarOnline.com.
Former professional football player DeMarcus Ware, 36, will also join the season. The former linebacker for the Broncos will likely not let his mirror ball trophy out of sight if he wins. The athlete’s Super Bowl ring was stolen during a burglary of his Colorado home in 2016.
Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, 58, is also new to the show fresh off the heels of a jail sentence! RadarOnline.com has learned that the actor served time behind bars earlier this year for failing to pay his wife alimony. Luckily, due to overcrowding, the actor reportedly only spent three days in prison. He reportedly did not pay his wife due to debt.
Joe Amabile, 32, is no stranger to television. The reality star, known as “Grocery Store Joe” from his stint on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette, used to work in the Chicago stock exchange. But he’s more well-known for returning to his home roots as a grocery store owner.
50-year-old Mary Lou Retton already has a ton of experience performing under pressure. The female Olympian competed in the 1984 Los Angeles games and thanks to her success became the first female athlete to be pictured on a Wheaties box. However, RadarOnline.com has learned that the gymnast’s former coach, Don Peters, was accused of sexual abuse and harassment in 2017. The same victim who sued Peters claimed to be a victim of Larry Nassar.
Nancy McKeon, known best for her role on The Facts of Life, was hit with tragedy earlier this year when the show’s star, Charlotte Rae passed away at the age of 92. A child star, McKeon now is a mother of two.

Comedian Nikki Glaser admitted on Wednesday that her decision to join the cast is “terrifying.” The standup comic formerly revealed she once got arrested for smoking pot. The 34-year-old was also locked up after a warrant was out for her arrest for failing to pay a parking ticket. She revealed it was a mistake, however, and she had already paid the ticket. The cops apologized for failing to enter her information correctly, she claimed.
Juan Pablo Di Pace, 39, is also joining season 27 – but what will Full House’s Kimmy Gibbler think? The actor is best known for starring in Fuller House as Gibbler’s estranged husband!
This season’s youngest competitor is 17-year-old Milo Manheim. He is best known for his role as Zed in Disney Channel original movie, Zombies.
Last but not least, radio host Bobby Bones is sure to entertain viewers. The American radio personality is a popular voice in his hometown of Nashville, but he’s had some strange run-ins with authorities. He was once investigated by the FCC for accidentally triggering a national emergency alert system, sending thousands of phone and TV users alerts meant for national emergencies. As part of a settlement, iHeartMedia was ordered to pay a $1 million penalty for the shocking mistake, the FCC reported on its website.
