Chrissy Metz is living up to her outrageous diva reputation! The This Is Us star was nearly kicked out of Jimmy Kimmel Live after landing herself in hot water with a security guard for wreaking havoc on set of the hit late-night program. Metz, 36, appeared as a guest on the talk show this week looking innocent in a feminine floral frock — but don't let her flawless look fool you! During her August 15 guest appearance, Metz admitted she was so rowdy on the show when she attended as an audience member ten years ago that one of Kimmel's guards desperately tried to boot her! Metz explained actress Cheryl Hines was Kimmel's guest that night, and since they went to rival Florida schools Metz felt it was necessary to shout out support for the University of Florida, where she attended for her undergrad.
Metz's diva antics she exhibited ten years ago have only gotten worse with her celebrity status. A snitch told Radar that her behavior on This Is Us had been causing drama on set. “Chrissy’s been throwing her weight around like a bull in a china shop,” the source spilled.
“She snaps at makeup people , she won’t take direction, and she has fits because wardrobe has the toughest time fitting her!” the mole dished to Radar.
Playing weight-challenged Kate Pearson on the show sent her over the edge. “Chrissy panics whenever she has to do a red carpet,” the informant divulged. “She hates watching people whisper how fat she is.” Though her rep denied any problems, the stressed-out diva was back to wolfing down 5,000 calories a day, according to an on-set spy.
Metz signed autographs for fans in her flowered frock outside the studio before her Kimmel appearance. “She boasts she’s lost 100 pounds, but she’s already gained a lot of it back,” the snitch told Radar. “Now she’s complaining the stress of the show is making her even hungrier!”
