Shocking images have been released of the horrifying scene where Audioslave vocalist Chris Cornell took his own life at age 52.
As RadarOnline.com can report, the American musician died tragically in May after having hung himself in his Detroit hotel room.
Sitting on a brown leather couch, an acoustic guitar was found lying out of its case.
A homemade noose made from an exercise band was seen strangling Cornell when police official found him dead in his suite.
New photos show a broken door latch, since police officials and medical professionals broke down the door of the late singer's room before finding him unconscious on the floor.

On the bed were sunglasses and remote controls for hotel devices.
Sitting on the stand next to his bed were two prescription drug bottles, a Speed Stick deodorant, contact lense solution and a contact case.
According to a source, Cornell's wife, Vicky Karayiannis, called his bodyguard to check up on him after she failed to get in touch with the singer.
A ripped up Delta airline ticket was also found in the hotel room along with Cornell's possessions.
The musician's former bodyguard, Martin Kristen, found his body in the bathroom floor and tried resuscitating the Soundgarden singer by compressing his chest.
"I went inside and the bathroom door was partially opened and I could see his foot," he sadly confessed in a statement.
