Celebrity Sightings During The 2016 Sundance Film Festival

Writer Jason Lew celebrated his directorial debut with Elisabeth Moss, Boyd Holbrook, Octavia Spencer and the rest of the cast of “The Free World” at the WME | IMG Lounge. The cast and guests enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as specialty cocktails served from the Tequila Don Julio bar and toasted to the new film which debuted on Jan. 26

At this weekend’s Sundance Film Festival, there was one brand buzzing louder than the rest: Canadian outerwear brand, Moose Knuckles. The brand may be new to the States (having just launched officially here this Fall after becoming a major player in Canada in recent years), but has quickly earned a large celebrity fan base, which can be seen in the many celeb sightings this week.

Gabrielle Union and Nick Jonas have rocked jackets from Moose Knuckles’ new Flex Core Category while other celebs like Joe Jonas and Nathalie Emmanuel have sported bold pieces from the brand’s Fashion Collection. Abigail Spencer, Natasha Lyonne, Logan Lerman, Lil Jon, AnnaLynne McCord, The Chainsmokers, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Tyler Posey, Erin Moriarty, Carly Steel, Liz Hernandez, and more have also been spotted wearing Moose Knuckles at this year’s Sundance Film Festival!

For the conclusion of the Film Festival, celebs celebrated with specialty Dobel Tequila cocktails at the Kia Supper Suite by The Church Key in honor of the “Yoga Hosers” premiere. Celebrities in attendance included Justin Long, Tyler Posey, Austin Butler, Harley Quinn Smith, Kevin Smith, Ralph Garman, Q’orianka Kilcher and Jason Mewes, to name a few.

Later that evening, Greg Kinnear, Roger Guenveur Smith, Jason Stuart, Fagun Thakrar and many others celebrated the “Little Men” movie premiere.

The Verge Party at Sundace 2016 Presented by Eddie Bauer on January 23, 2016.  As in years’ past, Verge’s Founder and Creative Director, Jeff Vespa curated a list of talent for the event’s namesake magazine who are “on the verge” of stardom.  This year, the exclusive list celebrated seven stars on the cusp of greatness; Francesca Eastwood, Markees Christmas, Dylan Gelula, Royalty Hightower, Andre Hyland, Ben Schnetzer and Kate Lyn Sheil.

Continuing the weekend festivities, 50 Bleu Lounge at Rock & Reilly’s played host to the official “White Girl” after party with a slew of celebs to celebrate.  Actors such as Justin Bartha, Geoff Stults, Morgan Saylor, Brian ‘Sene’ Marc, India Menuez, Anthony Ramos, Ralph Rodriguez and Adrian Martinez toasted the night with 50 Bleu Vodka. Rob Zombie and his wife were all love and smiles at the Eddie Bauer Adventure House and Rob, the chivalrous gentlemen, kneeled while letting his wife sit in the jam-packed lounge.

The young cast of Captain America were seen in the Eddie Bauer Adventure House taking fun selfies and silly photo booth photos with each other. They also received Eddie Bauer MicroTherms with their film’s logo embroidered on the front as a special memento.

John Legend and the cast of Underground had a busy day but took a breather at the Eddie Bauer Adventure House where they also had their WireImage portraits taken. John and cast then walked away with some beautiful, bright Eddie Bauer MicroTherm jackets that had their initials embroidered onto them.

Lorraine Toussant was spotted in the Eddie Bauer Adventure House saying “this is the fun stuff!” and talked about how she loves wearing all white everything.

Chelsea Handler was so grateful and sweet at the Eddie Bauer Adventure House. She was immediately drawn to the Eddie Bauer MicroTherm in sugar plum (bright pink) and was so excited to go home with it.

Nick Jonas and is his cast mates from Goat were hanging out in the Eddie Bauer Adventure House and were excited about the Eddie Bauer MicroTherms they could personalize and embroider. They also headed outside to scope out the scene at the lift.

Kicking off the 2016 Sundance Film Festival,  Bar 53 and 50 Bleu Lounge at Rock & Reilly’s hosted the celeb filled pre-party for “The Greasy Strangler”.  Actor Elijah Wood  spun hits while Sundance elite hung out in the 50 Bleu Lounge and sipped on hand crafted cocktails.In true Sundance fashion, Bar 53 and 50 Bleu Lounge at Rock & Reilly’s kept the party going as they held the official “Morris From America” after party, where celebs such as Craig Robinson, Carla Juri, Chad Hartigan and Keegan Dewitt stayed warm with libations from the 50 Bleu Lounge.

Jack Black was seen cracking his own life-size Wonderful Pistachio at the MTV Music Lodge.
