By practicing healthy habits, students can help reduce the number of sick days caused by cold & flu, ensuring they are in the classroom to learn. The science fair judges included Larter, microbiologist Joe Rubino and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners representative Dr. Mary Beth Koslap-Petraco who reviewed and awarded projects.

Ink Master judges Oliver Peck and Chris Nunez celebrated the season finale of the show at Chef Chris Santos’s Lower East Side hot spot Beauty & Essex last night.

The two were on trend dressed in all blue and had some fun in the restaurant’s pawn shop inspired space before the evening celebrations took place for the Arizona native winner Anthony Michaels.

On Tuesday  a special group of entertainers, celebrities, star athletes and business leaders were among the more than 600 people who attended Answer the Call’s Fourth Annual Kick Off to Summer Benefit, “The Red & Blue Soiree.” The much-anticipated event raised nearly $115,000 for the families of NYC Firefighters, Police Officers and Emergency Medical Service Workers killed in the line of duty.

“The Red & Blue Soiree is a wonderful opportunity for young people in the city to honor our fallen heroes and to provide support to the families they left behind.” said Lauren Profeta, Director of Development at Answer the Call. “Once again, the outpouring of support was tremendous.

It was another iconic night at The Abbey Food & Bar Tuesday night, as the infamous West Hollywood hotspot celebrated its 25th Anniversary! Hundreds of people and dozens of celebrity fans came out to celebrate the occasion, such as Michael Sam, Ross Mathews (“Hollywood Today Live”), Candis Cayne (“I Am Cait”) and Heather McDonald (“Chelsea Lately”).

The Abbey was decked out in elaborate white décor from wall-to-wall, and had a full ensemble orchestra playing throughout the exclusive private event. Midway through the evening, CEO/Founder of The Abbey, David Cooley, was presented with a Key to the City from Mayor Lauren Meister.

Other celebrities who attended includes Bruce Vilanch, Gilles Marini (“Teen Wolf”), Jai Rodriguez (“Queer Eye”) and Noah Galvin (“The Real O’Neals”).
