Click through RadarOnline.com’s gallery to see shots of the pair in the pages of the glossy publication and find out what they had to say.
The pair posed for the issue celebrating “Modern Swans,” which Town & Country defines as “change agents, entrepreneurs, wordsmiths, forces of fashion, philanthropists and more.”
“When I was younger I didn’t like the idea of having his name attached, this kind of ‘Douglas Dynasty’ stuff,” Carys told the magazine of her famous family. “I think what bothers me the most is that people think I don’t work hard for it, that I don’t need to work hard for it. That anything I do gets handed to me.”
“I feel I need to constantly prove myself to people – that I am not just my parents’ daughter,” said Carys, who turned 15 in April.
Carys revealed she got her love of style from her mom, and she’s trying to follow in her well-heeled fashion footsteps.

“Fashion has been so important in my life, because my mom is like a fashion icon to me,” she said. “I’m always looking through her closet.”
Despite their bond over their sense of beauty, Catherine says she’s most proud of her kids for an important quality they possess. “What I instilled in my kids, and I’m very, very proud of it, is manners. There’s nothing worse than a privileged kid without manners,” she said. “I drilled it into them like boot camp.”
Catherine also noted she isn’t willing to let her daughter disrespect her whenever they don’t see eye to eye.“The teenage years…Carys knows she cannot roll her eyes at me, or huff and puff around me. I never did it to my mother; and she’s not doing it to me.”
