Ex-convict Cameron Douglas, 38, was just spotted for the first since his move to Los Angeles. The star was looking preppy in the sunny city after a judge allowed him to make the move from NYC to LA following his prison release. Douglas is currently on parole after spending nearly seven years behind bars. The soon-to-be dad was arrested with drug possession and various other related charges and was finally set free in March. Michael Douglas' eldest son was seen leaving the Westside theatre school after spending nearly two hours at a venue that specializes in intense method acting techniques.

The wannabe actor was busted for distributing narcotics in 2010. He was sentenced to five years behind bars, but a judge increased his sentence after he was found with drugs while in jail.

"He would always joke about partying on the inside," said a source at the time. "Everyone thinks he needs rehab."
He was released this March, yet violated his probation as he tested positive for Marijuana. Friends said a relapse was inevitable and they were not surprised.
"It was inevitable that he'd relapse," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "Anything he could get his hands on, he would do."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Douglas is now expecting his first child with girlfriend Viviane Thibes.
He has recently been spotted out and about, supposedly trying to get his life together since his release from prison.
