The star's much-younger girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, 22, revealed the tragic news that her grandfather has passed away, the first big blow to hit the couple since they started dating last year. The college student posted a picture and loving tribute of her grandfather amid the tragedy. Jenner, 68, and Hutchins, 22, have became inseparable over the past year, living together in the former KUWTK star’s Malibu home and traveling the world.
“My amazing grandpa died, surrounded by loved ones, this morning. He was such an example of how a man should be,” Hutchins posted on August 27. “He was married to my grandma for 70 years. His legacy will live on with their 8 children, countless grandchildren, and great grandchildren. What a life well lived! R.I.P. Grandpa Love You.”
Jenner and Hutchins have received fierce criticism in their relationship, but have remained a united front.
