But while the lavish charity affair to benefit those living with AIDS and HIV is an important cause, Caitlyn's move caused controversy because she missed son Brody Jenner's wedding at the same time! Caitlyn, 68, arrived at the Austria for Life Ball festivities on a private plane with Hutchins, 21, on Friday.
The ex I Am Cait star and her galpal were expected to mingle with other famous Life Ball guests, including Charlize Theron and Paris Jackson.
The lavish charity affair which will help people living with AIDS and HIV is dear to transgender star Caitlyn's heart.

Caitlyn rocked her feminine fashion in the lead up to the Ball, wearing a tight grey tee shirt and legging jeans off the plane. Later, at the cocktail welcome party at Le Meridien Hotel in Vienna, Cait donned a low cut flowing floral dress, black high heels, and carried a fancy purse by Gucci.
Brody's father didn't attend his Saturday wedding on an Indonesian Island. Instead, hours before, Cait was spotted with Sophia having drinks at the Austrian bash. Kelly Osbourne also made the scene!
Snub? Rumors flew that Caitlyn and son Brody, 34, are estranged after a rep for the former athlete confirmed that she would skip Brody's ceremony due to "prior work commitments."
Brody married longtime squeeze Kaitlynn Carter, 29, in an ocean-view wedding on June 2 on the exotic island of Nihi Sumba, off the coast of Indonesia, as PEOPLE reported. They had 50 guests, but not Caitlyn! A source told RadarOnline.com that Caityn's "number one priority" is Sophia, who banned the former decathlete from attending Brody's nuptials!
