As RadarOnline.com reported, Murphy died on December 20, 2009 under suspicious circumstances.
Although the 32-year-old's official cause of death was reported as pneumonia and anemia, insiders close to the situation questioned whether her husband was somehow involved.
Friends became suspicious when he told hospital staff that he did not want an autopsy performed on his wife - a request that was ultimately denied.
Then, the 40-year-old began planning a tell-all book about his late wife shortly after her death, and attempted to charge $1,000 for people to attend Murphy's funeral.
Monjack himself died in May 2010 of the same illness that allegedly killed his wife.
