Who Will Replace Bristol? Former Star Farrah & ‘Real World’s Madison Would Take ‘Teen Mom OG’ Role
April 3 2019, Updated 1:24 p.m. ET
Bristol Palin announced she’s quitting Teen Mom OG after only one season. Throughout her premiere run, she slammed the series for not portraying her well and only airing her baby daddy drama.
Now that there is a spot up for grabs, who is in the running to replace her?
From Farrah Abraham to Mackenzie McKee, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal who could be chosen to replace Bristol.
She’s Out!
Bristol, 28, broke the news on Tuesday, April 1. “Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace… and honestly - my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford,” she wrote. “$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain bs, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction. I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors!”
Over It
Bristol teased she’s leaving the show last week when a fan asked during an Instagram Q&A, “Will you stick with MTV after the way producers portrayed you?” She responded by shaking her head no. Her baby daddy Levi Johnston’s wife Sunny hinted at the news when she said that Teen Mom is “over for our story.”
Standing Up For Herself
A source told RadarOnline.com that Palin “hated” the way producers portrayed her. “They did not show anything about how she actually works and provides for her family,” the source said. “She wants to be a ‘role model’ for single moms and didn’t feel like the show portrayed her in a role model way and ‘focused on the drama.’”
Independent Woman
The insider added, “Bristol is actually smart when it comes to real estate. She flipped like 2-3 houses when she was young. I’m sure she is successful.”
Hiring Time!
Now that Bristol is out, who is going to replace her?
She’s Back?
A source close to Farrah Abraham told RadarOnline.com that she would return. “They should bring Farrah back,” the insider said. “They need her on the show for ratings. They made a big mistake. For the right price, Farrah would come back. But she’s going to say, ‘I told you so!’”
Termination
Farrah was fired from the series because of her return to the XXX industry and her treatment of the crew.
Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee was initially in the running to replace Farrah. She was also considered for Teen Mom 2, but MTV went with Briana DeJesus.
Better On Her Own
She admitted to RadarOnline.com that she “doesn’t know what their plans are.” “Me and Josh are thriving right now and living our best life,” she said. “We are really shining on YouTube and my business is thriving and I have so many plans in the works.”
Still Mad
She said of MTV picking Bristol and Cheyenne Floyd over her, “MTV really did me wrong!”
No Word Yet
16 & Pregnant star Lindsey Nicholson revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that she too was considered for a role on Teen Mom 2. But she admitted MTV hasn’t reached out to her following Bristol leaving.
Sorry, MTV!
“All the girls seem very stressed and not happy to work with MTV,” she told RadarOnline.com of if she would join the show. “I don’t know if I’d even want that for my family.”
Back On Reality TV?
Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin’s ex-girlfriend Madison Channing Walls, who appeared on The Real World: Skeletons, reached out to MTV to appear on the series.
Bad News
Her rep told RadarOnline.com, “She 100 percent wants to do Teen Mom. I tried pitching her a few months ago. MTV told me, ‘No, not right now.’” Why not put Maddie on? She’s going to be open talking about her struggles with addiction.”
Interesting Storyline?
As RadarOnline.com readers know, she is a recovering heroin addict. She is currently in a custody battle with baby daddy Tony Raines, who is on The Challenge.
