Take a look inside the sprawling Minnesota mansion that was the site of a gruesome killing.
The site of the gruesome deaths of Brian Short, his wife and three children occurred in their stunning 5,600 sq. ft. home. The mansion is valued at $2,118,494 according to Zillow.
The bodies of Brian, 45; wife Karen, 48; son Cole, 17; and their daughters, Madison, 15, and Brooklyn, 14 were located in various parts of the sprawling home, authorities said.
The home is on the lake, with "100 ft of rip-rap shoreline."
The Shorts' custom home, which they purchased in 2011, has five massive bedrooms and three bathrooms.
There are floor to ceiling windows offering a spectacular view of the lake.
"Their lives revolved around their kids," family friend Kathy Lausche told the Star Tribune, saying that she "can't even fathom" the loss of her friends.
