Inside Brad Pitt's Sad & Lonely Father's Day
June 20 2017, Published 12:18 a.m. ET
It's the first Father's Day for Brad Pitt since his highly publicized split from Angelina Jolie in September, but instead of being surrounded by his family on Sunday, the actor's six children left their famous dad "home alone" instead. As RadarOnline previously reported, Pitt's ex-wife was caught whisking their kids away on a secret vacation, leaving sad Brad all by his lonesome. RadarOnline.com has obtained new photos of the A-lister looking heartbroken on a day that was meant to be happy.
Pitt was photographed looking down and distressed while at Nice Airport with long time friend Dede Gardner.
On that same day, Jolie was spotted at LAX Airport jetting out of town with the couple's six kids. Holding Vivienne, 8, by the hand while her twin brother Knox walked beside them with their older siblings Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, and Shiloh, 11.
Insiders close to the situation tell RadarOnline.com that Pitt has been spending a lot of time prepping his Los Feliz compound in hopes that his kids will come visit him this summer.

"Brad has been spending more time at the compound getting the outdoor areas, pool and gardens, ready for summer," our insider dished.
Our source added, "After the divorce news broke nobody saw him there for months but he is back and seems more comfortable once again – hopefully the kids will visit soon."
