Bob Barker 'Resting' After Scary Medical Emergency At 94

At 94, Bob Barker is battling various health issues, and waiting for the day when he can be reunited with his late wife, Dorothy Jo Gideon. Regardless, he is staying strong and positive having recently survived a scary medical emergency. Bob Barker escaped death this October 9 when ambulances rushed to his Los Angeles home following a health crisis.
At the time, the former game show host was suffering from extreme back pain and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The crisis came after his recent back injury, though it hasn't been revealed what caused the pain to return.
Shocking new photos show the star being carried out of his home in a stretcher, and later, an ambulance.
Despite fans' fears that Barker could be facing his sad end, the 94-year-old jumped right back to health after his hospital visit.
"He's awake and alert. He's resting and going through evaluations," his manager told PEOPLE.

The manager also said that the only reason he was transported in an ambulance was because it would have caused him pain to be driven to the ER in a private, smaller vehicle.
