As RadarOnline.com has reported, Hollywood A-list couple Stiller, 51, and Taylor, 45, announced their split on Friday afternoon after 17 years of marriage. "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate," Stiller and Taylor said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.\
"Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time," Stiller and wife Taylor, parents to daughter Ella, 15, and son Quinlin, 12, said in their statement to Entertainment Tonight.
The married actors starred in multiple films together, including Zoolander, where Taylor played a reporter interviewing his infamous Derek Zoolander character. But Stiller was also plagued by bad press during their marriage. In 2015, Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony's motion picture group following the company's leak scandal, was caught in a WikiLeaks dump calling Stiller a "horrible person," as RadarOnline.com reported.
Although he's funny onscreen in movies such as There's Something About Mary, is Stiller hard to deal with behind the scenes? Stiller has made the list as one of Hollywood's most hated celebrities, according to sources, as RadarOnline.com reported.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, longtime marrieds Stiller and Taylor had not been spotted in public together since April 18. On May 26, the two announced they were splitting up. They were devastated when Stiller's beloved actress mom Anne Meara died in 2015. His famous actor dad Jerry is still alive at age 89.
Stiller and his wife have been stunned by his health woes. Last year, Stiller announced he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014, as CNN reported. The tumor was surgically removed three months later, in September 2014, and Stiller told Howard Stern that he has been cancer-free ever since.
The comedian and his pretty blonde wife couldn't have looked happier in 2012 while on vacation in Hawaiian paradise, as RadarOnline.com reported. But on May 26, Stiller and Taylor told fans they were getting a divorce.
Stiller and Taylor can look back on a life of working together and having two kids. But cracks in the marriage showed as they weren't seen together recently and now they've confirmed the split.
