Avril Lavigne recently admitted she has Lyme disease, and it's clear husband Chad Kroeger is by her side through her fight. After months of divorce rumors, they reunited for a day at the beach in Miami and RadarOnline.com has the photos.

Wearing a long black dress with a sexy slit in the front and Ugg boots, the Canadian singer covered up on the Miami beach.

"I went from doctor to doctor for about eight months until I found somebody that had the knowledge of Lyme disease and the experience of treating it," Lavigne said on Good Morning America.

Looking healthy, the Sk8er Boi singer smiled on the sandy beach.

She told GMA that doctors doubted her intuition that she had Lyme disease: "Some of them were like, 'It doesn't exist.'"

"I actually knew I had it the whole time, probably since the summer, and was just up against a lot of doctors telling me, 'You're crazy,'" she said about her fight to get an accurate diagnosis.

"I believe that I will come out of this healthier and stronger than I was before," she said about her determination to beat the disease.

"I've gained a lot of perspective on my life," she said. "I'm choosing to look at the positives."

Lavigne released a new single, title "Fly," which she wrote before becoming ill and said that she appreciates the song more now: "It's just about inner strength and courage," the singer revealed. "This song took on a whole new meaning for me while I was sick, which was pretty magical."
