Star Trek star Anton Yelchin died tragically early Sunday after being pinned by his own vehicle.
Authorities believe that Yelchin got out of his car, and then was hit by his own vehicle.
The gate was damaged by the impact of the car.
Friends of the actor became concerned when he did not show up for a scheduled rehearsal.
When they arrived at his home, they discovered his body.

Yelchin was just 27 years old at the time of his death.
A native of Russia, he was best known for his role as Chekov in the latest Star Trek Movies.
