"Alexis was huge pioneer in the LGBT movement, as well as a great artist and actress," a friend of the Arquette family told RadarOnline.com. "She would have definitely wanted a party like this because she absolutely loved a good Hollywood dive bar."
Among the guests was legendary porn star, Ron Jeremy. According to the insider, "Ron was very emotional and said that he was very close with Alexis. He was holding back tears the entire evening and was such a sweet guy to everyone there."
Scandal actor Guillermo Diaz — who has done several movies with Arquette — as well as famed photographer, Orlando Welsh, were in attendance, too. "Everyone was having a really great time and celebrating her life," said the insider.
Drag royalty Candace Cash, Ibrahim and Darren Bryan Friesen shared laughter and tears at last night's event.
Pop artist superstar, Sham Ibrahim — who was friends with Arquette for 19 years and hosted the evening — proudly displayed various pieces of Arquette's artwork, as well as a special canvas masterpiece that he did just for her!
But RadarOnline.com has learned that Ibrahim's Alexis piece went to her 48-year-old Emmy award winning sister, Patricia! According to the pal, "Patricia loved the piece and said that and that it was a very great thing that they did for her sister. She loved her very, very much.
