Real Housewives Of New York star Alex McCord and her husband Simon Van Kempen are saying good-bye to their Brooklyn home. The reality stars bought the home in 2005 for $1,275,000 dollars and have sold it for $2.6 million. They are reportedly moving to Australia to be near family.
The townhouse is located at 56 Butler St. between the Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill sections of Brooklyn. McCord and Van Kempen were shown on RHONY doing major renovations after buying the property.
The home is 3,884 sqft. with six bedrooms and five full baths. McCord painted the living room red, much to her co-star Jill Zarin's dismay.
The master bedroom is on the garden level and features a glass bi-fold system that leads directly to the landscaped yard.

The formal dining room features beautiful hardwood floors.
The kitchen has custom bamboo cabinetry and a bi-fold glass wall system too.
