Alec Baldwin was released from jail on Friday afternoon after allegedly punching a man. But the actor denied the claims via Twitter, writing, "Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today's story. However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as such." But is Baldwin telling the whole truth? Sources have told RadarOnline.com that the star known for his hot headed behavior didn't punch the man—but DID behave like a bully in the alleged fracas. Frequent Saturday Night Live guest Baldwin, 60, said nothing to reporters as he left the police station on November 2. The actor has a long history of losing his temper in angry incidents.
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Baldwin was arrested for assaulting a 49-year-old man over a parking spot in New York’s West Village on Friday.
An eyewitness exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that Baldwin was waiting to get into a parking spot when a civilian pulled in and parked in the spot instead — and that’s when the actor allegedly went “crazy.”

According to RadarOnline.com's observer, "Baldwin was like ‘I got my kids in the car, I want this parking spot. I want you to get out of this parking spot right now. I got my kids with me!'"
Baldwin then allegedly proceeded to “get in the man’s face,” yelled at him and “pushed him two times," the source claimed to RadarOnline.com.
“The guy was scared,” the witness told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “He was terrified. He was nervous, didn’t know what to do." Baldwin has denied on Twitter that he "punched" the guy—and also reminded fans on social media to watch his Sunday night ABC talk show.
The unidentified alleged Baldwin victim looked “shook up” said the source. “He was nervous, his face was red. Alec was really aggressive and all in his face. Baldwin just lost it. I got mad. I’m like why is this guy hitting the other guy and he didn’t do anything? He was bullying him.” After the alleged assault, the man “just froze, had his hands up.” Baldwin was taken into police custody but later released, and the alleged victim was taken to a local hospital for observation. Baldwin has been charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment. He was given a desk appearance ticket.
