Adam Levine's coveted spot as a coach on NBC's hit reality singing competition show The Voice may be up for grabs after next season, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 38-year-old dad is ready to leave the show to focus on his growing family with pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo, 28. As The Voice fans know, Levine has been a coach on the hit show since 2011. But in the past few seasons, Levine has been butting heads with new coaches, including Miley Cyrus, 25, and Jennifer Hudson, 36!
But after Prinsloo and Levine announced she's pregnant with another baby girl less than two years after the birth of daughter Dusty Rose, a source told RadarOnline.com that he is "considering leaving to focus on his family."
"Behati is really putting a lot of pressure on him to quit and be more present in their kids' lives," the insider claimed.
"He wants to take a couple of years to be a stay-at-home dad and work on new music," the source said.
In a recent interview with Yahoo, Levine teased his departure and said: "Maybe I'd let Bruno Mars in the door. We'll see how many kids Justin Timberlake has, if he can handle another job. Maybe Justin can do it. And yeah, that's pretty much it."
Levine's departure could also mean the end of the road for longtime coach and best bro, Blake Shelton! "If Adam leaves, Blake is going to follow because he has been over it for a while. Ever since Gwen Stefani left, Blake has been ready to go," the source told RadarOnline.com.
