A Wisconsin woman has been accused of killing a car dealership employee after he refused to give her money back for a car she leased and the conversation “escalated,” RadarOnline.com has learned.

Around 9:00 a.m. on March 20, Jakira T. Anderson, 23, went to the car dealer in Middleton to dispute a transaction involving her vehicle, Front Page Detectives reported. Anderson met with Kawsu Samba, 34, and argued with him over the next few hours.

According to surveillance video, Samba allegedly can be seen trying to get Anderson to leave the building around 1:30 p.m. and places his hand on her back to guide her out the door, police said.

Anderson, however, stops at the exit door, turns to face Samba, pulls out a gun and fires a bullet into his chest, officials said.

After being shot, Samba stumbled backwards and then ran out into the parking lot.

Police said Anderson ran after the employee, but he fell to the ground. She then stood over him for a brief moment before getting into her car and leaving, according to authorities.

While Dane County 911 received calls about the shooting, Anderson reportedly also phoned emergency dispatchers. During the call, a disturbance can be heard, followed by a gunshot. The call then is disconnected.

The dispatcher called Anderson back and Anderson told the dispatcher a man put his hands on her, but she left the scene and was headed home, police said.

Samba was taken to the hospital and doctors said he took a “direct hit to the right lung and heart,” according to officials. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Police located Anderson outside her mother’s home and arrested her. She was charged with first-degree intentional homicide and bail was set at $1 million.

In an interview with police, Anderson said she pulled out the gun, which she bought legally but had not registered yet, because she felt threatened by Samba, but she could not explain to officers anything threatening that Samba said to her, court records show.

She told police she was trying “to scare him back or something” and she “didn’t think I was going to hit him, I wasn’t even aiming or nothing,” according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
