The Weeknd is saying goodbye to his extravagant bachelor pad in Los Angeles after owing the property for nearly three years.
The Canadian singer has listed his luxury penthouse for $22.5 million, which is $1.5 million more than he originally purchased the home for in 2019.
According to the New York Post, the property is comprised of four bedrooms and eight bathrooms located on the 18th floor of an incredibly exclusive high-rise building.
The lavish residence also offers a stunning 360-degree view of the Hollywood Hills, Bel-Air, and the Los Angeles Country Club — displaying the overall continuous area stretching from Downtown L.A. to the Pacific Ocean.
In addition, the property that spans 8,000 square feet is also suitable for buyers who love to host guests as it includes a sprawling living room, a private state-of-the-art chef's kitchen, and an entertainment bar with a TV wall.
The art-filled bachelor pad includes a saltwater pool, spa, 24/7 security, valet parking, and a helipad.
As for the master suite, it comes with a private gym and a high-end built bathroom complete with a jewel-box steam shower for the next lucky owner. Angel Salvador from the Beverly Hills Estates holds the listing of the property.
The decision to sell the lavish apartment comes after the Save Your Tears singer purchased a whopping $70 million mansion in Bel-Air for his next home in August last year.
Media mogul Reinout Oerlemans and his wife, Danielle, owned the property before The Weeknd approached the couple to express his interest in their residence.
He upgraded himself from the penthouse to a nine-bedroom, 13 bathrooms villa that spans 33,00 square feet, surrounded by 1.6 acres of garden.
The singer's new home also features an indoor pool, spa, outdoor pool and waterfall, gym, sports court, and a cinema.
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, recently thanked his fans for their support in making Blinding Lights the longest-charting song in history.
"Forever grateful to be able to experiment with sounds, try new things with my voice and create music with the people I truly love and respect," he wrote on Instagram. "For the last decade, every song has been a journey, and to be able to continue this journey has been nothing short of a blessing."
The singer continued, "It's the only gift I could ever ask for. I'll be doing it for as long as I can breathe. I love my fans and wouldn't be here without you. Big day for blinding lights. Multiple songs in the top 20."
