'The View' Scrambling To Replace Meghan McCain With Trump-Lover Like Kimberly Guilfoyle Or Candace Owens, Despite Joy Behar Complaints
Producers for The View are scrambling to find a right-winged, Donald Trump-loving host after Meghan McCain makes her exit.
According to reports, it's chaotic behind-the-scenes of the daytime talk show, with co-host Joy Behar expressing her displeasure when it comes to potential McCain replacements.
A View source tells Daily Mail, if ABC executives really had balls, they would hire controversial conservatives like Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, or the former president's son Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle.
The insider says after McCain leaves the show, they'll need a "massive shake-up" and someone who can give the liberal ladies at the table "a run for their money."
According to the source, Guilfoyle has been asked to join the show multiple times.
"[Kimberly] would be great as she would literally prosecute the other members of the panel every day of the week," they told the outlet. "One of our highest-rated episodes ever was when she stopped by the show with Don Jr."
Producers allegedly have their eyes set on a republican to fill McCain's seat. "We need to hire a Trump Republican to reach more of the available audience at home," the insider revealed.
Behar is reportedly not happy about the rumblings of a new cast member and is having a change of heart about her on-air enemy McCain.
"Joy Behar is openly moaning about Meghan leaving as it's finally hit her that sometimes it is better the devil you know," the source explained.

"Joy has only just realized that they could be getting someone much further right on the political spectrum than Meghan who won't put up with her crap," they added.
Earlier this month, McCain announced her exit, with reports stating Whoopi Goldberg made it clear that she wanted her co-star gone.
There has also been rumbling that OG co-host Debbie Matenopoulos might step in.
At the time, Mattenopoulos' rep confirmed to Radar she had been talking to The View executives.
"Her rep has in fact been having conversations with senior executives at ABC News over the past few months about many things, including her participation in celebrating the 25th season of The View, and she appreciates all the interest in her returning," Peter Capozzi told us. "Currently, she is in development on two food shows and her own lifestyle show, but she’d never say never to returning to her first television home."
One person who reportedly isn't in the running is guest host Ana Navarro.
"Ana Navarro is angry because she desperately wants Meghan's job but she's convinced they're not going to give her a full time seat at the table," the source told Daily Mail.
"Ana doesn't deserve the chair. She is not a Republican in the true sense of the word, all she does is slam people who voted for Trump," they added.
