'Sopranos' Star Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Ex-Husband Sentenced To 11.5 Years In Prison For Massive $300 Million Stock Scheme
Jamie-Lynn Sigler won't have to worry about running into her ex Abraxas Discala because he's going to prison.
The 40-year-old former Sopranos star's first husband has been sentenced to 11.5 years behind bars for orchestrating an elaborate $300 million stock scheme.
Discala, who Sigler married when she was only 22, was slapped with the sentence in a Brooklyn federal court on Wednesday.
According to Page Six, Sigler's ex must also pay a whopping $2,484,873 in fines and will be expected to fork over restitution. The amount of restitution will reportedly be decided at a later date.
Discala was the CEO of now-obsolete OmniView Capital Advisors. He was also Sigler's money manager before they tied the knot in 2003.
Discala was convicted of the "pump-and-dump" scheme in May 2018. Sigler's former husband was accused of artificially inflating shares of high-risk stocks and selling them off to unknowing investors before "the securities crashed," which ultimately made the stocks worth nothing.

“Discala conspired to manipulate trading activity in penny stocks in furtherance of a scheme to defraud the securities market and investing public of millions of dollars,” Breon Peace, US attorney for the Eastern District of New York, said in a statement following the sentencing.
“With today’s sentence, Discala has been held accountable for his crimes and the harm he caused to investors," he added.
After being found guilty of the crime three years ago, Discala's attorney vowed to fight the verdict.
“Obviously, we are disappointed, but we believe we have serious issues for our post-trial motions, so we are going to continue to fight on behalf of Mr. Discala," Charles Ross said at the time.
Sigler's marriage to Discala was short-lived. She filed for divorce three years after walking down the aisle.
The actress is not connected to her ex-husband's crimes.
Since divorcing the convicted crook, she's remarried. Sigler wed baseball stud Cutter Dykstra during an outdoor ceremony in Palm Springs. The happy couple shares two sons — Beau, 8, and Jack, 3.
