Shia LaBeouf Is Free As a Bird During Bike Ride Amid News His Battery And Petty Theft Charges 'Could Get Dropped'
Shia LaBeouf looked cool as a cucumber on a bike ride as news his battery and petty theft charges could get dropped.
The 34-year-old star appeared unbothered and free during his ride around Los Angeles earlier this week. Maybe that's because he suspected he'd get some good news on Thursday.
Letting his long hair flow freely, LaBeouf's beard gleamed in the sun while he took a trip by waiting photographers.
Wearing 80s-themed sunglasses and riding gloves, Shia showed off his upper thigh tattoo in a pair of pretty short shorts.
Looking like he didn't have a care in the world, the Honey Boy actor got his adrenaline pumping prior to his court appearance earlier today.
LaBeouf might be able to avoid major legal consequences in his battery and petty theft case ... if he keeps his nose clean for the next year.
In October, Shia was hit with charges following a fight that allegedly turned physical and ended with the actor reportedly stealing the man's hat and running away from the scene.
A judge reportedly placed the star on a judicial diversion program on Thursday.

The judge also laid out several conditions that Shia must follow for the next 12 months in order to get his misdemeanor charges dismissed.
LaBeouf is required to attend private therapy for anger management at least once a week.
He must also continue with his alcohol monitoring.
The actor can not obtain or use a weapon. He also is forbidden to use force or violence of any kind, reports TMZ.
Following the altercation last year, the man filed a police report against LaBeouf.
Shia has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim, as well as 100 yards away from the scene where the altercation took place.
The court will reportedly check up on LaBeouf's progress in three months.
It's pretty simple -- if Shia stays on the straight and narrow for the next 12 months, his battery and petty theft charges will be dismissed.
If not, the actor could potentially face jail time.
