Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello can breathe easier tonight now that the suspect who broke into the couple's home and made off with one of their vehicles has been arrested.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department apprehended the trespasser on Thursday, weeks after the suspect allegedly broke into Shawn and Camila's house through a window and stole Mendes' expensive G-Wagon.
Authorities reportedly napped the suspect while following up on a separate trespassing incident in a different Los Angeles neighborhood. The guy apparently had Shawn's G-Wagon key on him which sealed the deal for police.
The suspect was arrested and allegedly charged with two felonies including burglary and grand theft auto.
According to reports, the trespasser broke a window to get inside Shawn and Camila's home. The couple was inside their house at the time.
The cops were called but by the time they arrived, it was too late. The suspect grabbed the keys to Shawn's beloved Mercedes SUV and took off.
Ironically, the "In My Blood" singer got his G-Wagon back days later. Authorities allegedly found it abandoned on a residential street and it was in great condition.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello set the Internet on fire when they released their duet "Señorita" in the summer of 2019. Their chemistry was so hot, fans were convinced they were more than just friends.
The musical duo later confirmed where there's smoke, there's fire.
Soon after the song's release, Shawn and Camila began popping up everywhere together looking very couple-y.
During quarantine, Shawn and Camila haven't left each other's side and couldn't be more adorable.
